Grouting is something that I have always found to be trickier than it looks, however there are some easy steps to ensure that you get a professional finish.

• Either buy ready made grout or make up your grout mix.

• Fill the grout into the gaps between tiles. Make sure you do this with a firm hand and a small piece of sponge.

• Clear away surplus grout from the tiles with a cloth or clean sponge. If it’s waterproof grout make sure you wipe away ASAP.

• To give it a professional finish simply run a thin a piece of dowelling over each grouted gap.

• Ensure that the surface of the tiles are entirely free from grout. Then clean up the grouted areas with a clean cloth.
