Every so often you see an idea and think that’s absolute genius - wish I’d thought of that....
The Magwear Wrist Band is one of those ideas. Essentially this product magnetically holds your screws, nails or other metal bits and pieces onto your wrist. Perfect for when you’re scaling a ladder or working in a tight spot.
Retailing for $18 (£9) it’s not going to break the bank balance either.
Just be careful though - you might just attract all kinds of other objects unintentionally!!

The sole purpose of screw cups, caps and washers is to prevent the screw head digging into the surface you’re trying to attach onto. It does this by spreading the pressure of the fixed screw head.
Screw cups improve appearance and are useful should you need to occasionally remove a screw.
Plastic screw caps conceal screw heads and are frequently used when screwing into coated chipboard.
Predominantly used with metal, the self tapping screw cuts a thread for itself - but requires a starter hole for the thread to catch on to.
In order for chipboard screws to have sufficient purchase, the threads are deep and extend right up the shaft. Their principal use is in the fixing of chipboard but they can also be used for solid timber.
The dome head screw is specifically used for fixing mirrors, splash backs and bath panels. It has a domed cap that fits onto the screw - this gives it an improved aesthetic appearance.
It’s always worth remembering not to over tighten the dome cover as this must be unscrewed by hand.
