If you’re a DIY enthusiast with concerns over the environment, you maybe pleased to hear that Dulux released Ecosure a couple of months ago.
Developed in conjunction with Forum for the Future (Sustainability Experts) the new paint has been designed to minimise environmental impact. About time to, some might say.
Apparently, Forum for the Future took a look at the impact of water based matt, gloss and undercoat products right through the production process. There results identified a reduction in embodied carbon and VOCs.
The dressing of a completed room is crucial to achieving a finished product. It’s particularly important if you’re looking to sell after a renovation project.
The old chestnuts are things like putting flowers on tables and brewing coffee - which are all meant to help a sale. But what about artwork?
Personally, I think it’s crucial. A good quality canvas can cover up a multitude of sins and create the illusion of more space.

When we heard about the Dulux Paint Pod Roller System in the office we through up a collective cheer. No more loading of rollers with excess paint and no more cleaning. Yipeee.
Did it live up to expectations when we tested it? Well absolutely yes and no....
We only gave it a brief run around (we’re due to do more comprehensive testing in a couple of weeks which we will report and review) but first impressions are ok.
