Over the next few days we’re going to be letting you know about the new Mira Eco Range of shower units.
The new range of handsets and fixed heads reduce water consumption by up to 75% without impairing shower performance. Not bad in context of rocketing water bills.
With a further doff of the cap to green credentials - the Eco range carries the Waterwise ‘Water Marque’ and comes in recyclable cardboard packaging.
In addition £1 from every purchase goes to WaterAid, guaranteeing a £10k donation for the charity.
The Mira Everclear is a shower handset specially made for hard water areas where showers have a tendency to fur up quickly.
Everclear reduces limescale build up with an innovative self drain mechanism which kicks in when the shower is turned off.
This shower head is also self cleaning thanks to pins which push through the shower nozzles, either automatically or manually activated, so you never need to scrub again!
Anything, that saves scrubbing and cleaning of scale has to be worth consideration..... We’re actually planning to purchase this product for a new development - will report back with a more in depth review thereafter. Keep your eyes peeled!!!!
