BOSCH Spray Guns PFS 105E Review

We recently had the opportunity to trial one of Bosch’s latest toys, the PFS 105E spray gun and it just so happened that I had the project to test it to the extreme!

My garage door is an absolute state… well it was until yesterday PM. To be fair, it was probably due for retirement BUT the current economic climate means that it’s all about preservation at the mo.

So after stripping it back to bare metal last week I got to work with the spray gun. Luckily for me the PFS 105E came with a very simple to understand/view DVD. Without it I would have probably avoided the instructions at all costs and ended up with a rainbow coloured door.

So, tooled up with my new PFS 105E and feeling very manly gripping the gun I got to work. Incredible… have you ever tried to paint a metal garage door with a paintbrush and found that it drips in every snag? Well those days are over!

Honestly, I don’t like being overly gush about the products that we try here but this is a revolution in my life and the wife’s already got the kitchen cabinets off the walls ready for me to get going – it did too good a job!!! I used hardly any paint and created a perfectly even finish and it took me less than half the time.

The PFS 105E is really portable, it has electronic airflow so you can control the paint mist to suit the type of material being used.  You can also use other materials with thin viscosity such as varnishes, wood preservatives, pesticides, stains, oils or primers undiluted.

READER COMMENTS:

I’ve recently bought it as well. i’ve used it to paint my car. previously i had a very small compressor which ran out quickly. pfs 105 runs continuously and makes less noise and for me gets the job done better with that airflow control thingy.
used it on the garage door as well.
