IKEA Aims To Shed Combat Shopping Tag

Good news for IKEA fans in London. For years, trips to IKEA have been tortuous. Often the whole experience ends up being what I call “combat shopping.”

Anyway, it appears IKEA have taken head of customer complaints and have invested £60 million in upgrading two flagship stores in London - Brent Park and Croydon.

IKEA have now incorporated the following changes.

1. New express check outs for bags only.

2. Extra staff to deal with customer enquiries.

3. Customers can now take trolleys out into the car park.

4. A revised warehouse system which should enable product to reach customers quicker.

5. Better signage.

6. Increase in the number of children’s play areas.
