Making your home appear more spacious

When homes are little light on space, it’s important think about maximising what you have. It’s amazing what you can do with a little elbow grease and reconfiguration.

Some things to consider:

• Make the most of redundant spaces like cupboards or tiny rooms with no use.

• Consider an open plan arrangement. This can be highly effective in creating the illusion of more space.

• Declutter your home and install large mirrors in strategic locations.

• Remove shelving from alcoves and thin out unnecessary furniture.
