MyHammer oddest requests

According to MyHammer.co.uk it seems that there are some rather odd requests in home improvement circles.

A series of weird and wacky calls for help have been posted on MyHammer - a UK trade and services portal – including one asking for a new pair of fangs and another looking for someone to send bananas to France. Not to mention the person hoping to find a HOUSEWIFE to RENT.

Here’s a list of the strangest ‘odd jobs’ posted on the website so far this summer…
Fangs – “I currently have two acrylic fang caps and would like copies made out of something stronger” With a request like this, who knows what vampire characters are lurking in the night!

Coffin – “Help! We need a miniature coffin made. Doesn’t have to be made of proper wood or anything, even MDF will do” We can only hope that this is a prop for a production…

Housewife – “I need a housewife to carry out general chores around the home.” Has it not occurred to this person they might be better off on a dating site?
Bananas – “I’m looking for someone who can take 10kg worth of bananas to France; the package ideally needs to get there in the next six weeks. Please contact me for the address and further details.” Very odd request indeed, either someone has a pet monkey, no friends and can’t leave the house - or someone has run out of luggage space.
Bob Swift, UK Representative for MyHammer, says:

“We seem to get some really strange job posts on MyHammer at times, and the UK is great at coming up with the really quirky posts. Although the majority of the jobs online are quite normal –cleaning services, garden clearing, building walls etc - some look more like they should be posted at Halloween! We check the site daily for any jobs that seem too strange and possibly fake so we can verify and remove them if necessary.”
