The dressing of a completed room is crucial to achieving a finished product. It’s particularly important if you’re looking to sell after a renovation project.

The old chestnuts are things like putting flowers on tables and brewing coffee - which are all meant to help a sale. But what about artwork?

Personally, I think it’s crucial. A good quality canvas can cover up a multitude of sins and create the illusion of more space.

Surface View is a reasonably priced company that has come recommended as a supplier of canvas prints drawn from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s archive. Offering 3m x 3m examples of over 140 digitally enhanced classics can be a great way to pep up your walls.

Michael Ayerst, managing director of Surface View, says:

“Surface View has worked with V&A Images since we launched as we wanted to offer customers stunning images to work with.  The quality of the collections are outstanding and add drama and character to any space.  We want to ensure that customers are able to work creatively to make every aspect work for them, and there has been great demand for large scale canvases and prints.  It is very easy for customers to adapt any of the images giving them many options for altering interior décor and ambience, whether for private residences or commercial and public spaces.  It’s been a great opportunity and we enjoy working with the V&A, making these images available to the public in this format and size for the first time.”
