My top tips for using mosaic tiles successfully are:

1. Use Mosaic tiles that come on a flexible backing. Far easier than installing individual mosaic pieces. However, you need to ensure that the sheets are carefully placed and spaced - otherwise you will get an unsightly grid affect.

2. Ensure that tiles on mosaic sheets are laid firm and square to avoid sagging.

3. Small mosaic tiles will only ever make a small bathroom seem smaller - don’t do it!

4. Mosaic tiles are great for covering curved surfaces.

5. Use tiles with a polished edge to ensure a satisfactory look on corner edges.
