Paint being slow to dry can have many causes, but here a few suggestions:
CAUSES
1. Poorly ventilated room.
2. Temperatures are cold.
3. Surface that you have applied the paint to contains moisture.
4. Paint applied to a dirty or greasy surface.
5. Saturated brushes or rollers which dilute paint.
CURES
1. Make sure room is properly ventilated.
2. Put a heater into the room if temperatures are cold.
3. Ensure that you have dealt with condensation or any leaks within the property, before redecorating.
4. Strip paint and redecorate, ensuring that the surface is clean.
5. Ensure paint brushes and rollers are dry when applying paint.
